For the sake of argument.

No, really folks, it's getting too serious around here. In the interest of sillynasity, everyone is required to watch the following inspirational, multiple-choice, sillynastic video...revisited, that is:

LMAO. Seriously. {I so needed that.} Thank you.

Wait a second...I have a differing opinion and suddenly we're not friends anymore? WTH, man?

Haha, thanks for the smiles. :)

Sun---good! We all need to LOAsO more frequently.

Captain---Huh? Whaaaaaaaaa? Double huh?? This is what I say to my wife when I don't know what she's referring to, after I have apparently, unbeknownst to me, screwed up. Have I screwed up? Let me put it another way. Huh?

Judy---you deserve all the hahas you can get.

LOL, I love that sketch. Those flying circus guys are too funny.

I realized today after I made my newest posts on Journalspace and here on Blogspot that I had one less "follower" than I did yesterday. I went through my list and noticed that you were missing.

I assumed (yeah, yeah, I know) that you were pissed about my take on JS and dropped me from your "follow" list.

I hope that's not it! I actually kinda sorta like you, dude. :oP

Fitz---they are eternal I think. I never tire of them.

Captain---Holy shit! I swear, if I did remove you, it was accidental. Yesterday, or the day before, I decided I was following too many blogs, and deleted a couple that I picked up when I moved over here to blogspot...they just weren't posting, and not that interesting anyway. Maybe I accidentally bumped yours ...but, IT WAS NOT INTENTIONAL.

As to being pissed off about the JS remarks, no way. Unless someone flat out calls me an asshole, I really don't take things personally here. And, besides, you weren't the only person to take me to task for that. I truly am much more mellow than I pretend here.

This brings to mind a criticism of blogspot that I have...the inability to PM a fellow blogger. That's where this conversation should have taken place.

I'm sorry kiddo...ain't mad, upset, or pouting...going right back over there and re-follow. :)

Dear, that whole second paragraph is exactly why I was so flabbergasted. If you're fairly unflappable about politics, I couldn't understand how I got under your skin so badly that you'd delete me! :oP

All's well that ends well, I suppose! :o)

Never happened, dudette! ::)

Now I gotta figure out this damned no PM thing.

Mandazoid said...

You can always email me at my Gmail account (CaptainMando at Gmail, that is).

Mandazoid said...

...or send me a PM at the new JS. :oP

Awesome. I love the Python troupe!

A tradition around here come Easter is to watch 'Monty Python's Life of Brian'. Respectful of Jesus, a jab at organized religion, which occasionally needs one.

Chimp said...

I was brought up watching the Monty crew and other BBC comedies. I love their "Ministry of Silly Walks". Benny Hill was lots of fun too.

Timely post, J! We enjoy watching the reruns of MPFC on BBC America.

Other than SNL and MadTV, there are no more American sketch comedy shows, are there? (I might be being a bit generous there, eh?)

jadedj said...

Captain---I guess I'm going to go that route. Being paranoid, I've set up a fake yahoo email account. thejadedj@yahoo.com

yankee---the Brian story's not real?

Chimp---I know why you liked Benny...you lecherous and lascivious old monkey.

intell---I'm not sure. My TV watching is limited to movies, news...and of course...re-runs of the Beverly Hillbillies.

jadedj said...

Oh Chimp...another favorite, "The Dead Parrot"

No matter how old those clips get, they never get old. No, I am not arguing with myself, although I am prone to talking to myself and any inanimate object that will listen.

jadedj said...

Doug---how dare you call me an inanimate object...that comment, as regards me, is reserved for my wife.

Chimp said...

Yep, you do know why I liked Benny Hill. You just made me laugh when you mentioned the dead parrot - that was also a great one. I also saw all their movies. I also liked John Cleese in Fawlty Towers.

jadedj said...

Chimp---I have all the Fawlty episodes on tape. I have probably watched them at least a dozen times. If I could get around my Scotchness shallow pockets, I would buy the DVD's. Nah.

becomingkate said...

Fawlty Towers was a fave of my late husband. I loved that one episode with the Germans, lol.

jadedj said...

becoming---I think it's a testament to their talent that all who know them have a favorite episode...and when one mentions it, a very large smile comes to their faces. I'm smiling just writing this.

I'm flat out calling you an asshole.

No I'm not.

Yes I am.

No I'm most certainly not.

Yes you most certainly are...

antic---Yes I flat out am.
