Would she pass this test?

"I am not a good American...I prefer to form my own opinions" - George Carlin

Robbed this from boingboing.net:

/

Can your wife bake her own bread? Can she get a kid's leg stitched and not phone you at the office until it's all over? Find something to talk about when the TV set goes on the blink? Does she worry about the Bomb? Make your neighbors' children wish that she were their mother? Will she say "Yes" to a camping trip after 50 straight weeks of cooking? Let your daughter keep a pet snake in the back yard? Invite 13 people to dinner even though she only has service for 12? Name a cat "Rover"? Live another year without furniture and take a trip to Europe instead? Let you give up your job with a smile? And mean it?

From Doug (I had to alter the photo, and Doug had made a comment):

No, I don't. She would be as rare as a cherry VW camper, wot?

Doug---Yes. But I am going to wait until intelliwench weights in and get her opinion.

I was answering the question in the ad, of course. I could go on, but she's an ex so it's all moot.
;-)

Doug---I know what you mean. My life is filled with moot.

Yes to all of those questions. Plus (and this is the most important part):

When I tell her for the umpteenth day in a row that I have to [wink] "work late again tonight," she doesn't ask any questions.

(The preceding sentence was a joke).

Tom---I am sure you would agree that this would be one boring broad (the last is in the spirit of the ad, all).

Note, the last thing on the ad is... Congratulations! I guess that's why I don't own a VW bus.

Not too many men can handle that kind of wife....

Mr. C--- I had one once and I found it was all a lie!

intell---This would be a page from The Stepford Wives, methinks.

She did all those things. I got her the VW bus. She split in the bus with the neighbor. I should have gotten her a Yugo.

Chimp---Here's the consolation...if it was any thing like my POS bus, it broke down in the middle of the desert and they had to take up with a pack of coyotes, which were actually escaped Roswell aliens waiting for the mother ship. They were abducted, probed and taken to Alpha whatsit, many galaxies away, where they were put on display in the Universal Planetary Space zoo. The Alphanians feed them only raw putrid, decomposed roadkill because they are not allowed to have fire in their cages. So much for her cooking skills. Shit happens, you know?

I've been watching a documentary about a creature from Roswell. His name is Roger and he lives with the Smith family. Your description sounds like the adventures they have.

Chimp---I rest my case.
