I originally started this blog some seven years ago to showcase my artwork. To get the feel for the blog, my first post was something political. It was the Bush years and I was constantly pissed off and needed to vent. Until the last post, I've not presented even one piece of art here.
It's time to separate the two. My new, additional blog: thepencilandi.blogspot.com
I'm not giving this blog up, just expanding back to where I started, or intended to start.
BTW...I'M STILL PISSED OFF!

added your other blog to my bloglines..yeah, I started blogging about the same time and for same reasons. Bush was making me crazy and all I could do was bitch about it..
Cool second blog. Funny how politics gets in the way. When I started blogging in late 2004, I didn't intend to write only about politics (in spite of the blog title). I thought I'd write about politics some of the time, and some or most of the time I'd write about, well, "stuff," whatever comes to mind. I do an occasional non-political post, but usually there's too much infuriating sh*t in the news that I have to rant about.
I have found some of the photographs I posted on my blog turning up in Google Image searches. Pictures we post on our blogs are being co-opted by Google.
Your art work is great. Thanks for letting us view online. Wish I could afford some but on a fixed income my days of art purchases are past.

Thanks for the encouragement. While it is always nice to sell, this move really is as much an exhibit space as any thing. I hate the whole physical gallery scene and it's phoniness, so I just hope visitors find something to enjoy here.
