A neglected sixty-eight year old

"I am not a good American...I prefer to form my own opinions" - George Carlin

A pity really...used, abused, abandoned and left for dead in a field on the outskirts of Santa Fe, NM.
All she needs is massive amounts of loving...care...and several thousand greenbacks.

Pity a good scrounger/mechanic could chop and drop that one easily.

walking man---The Google street view this was based on was taken about a year ago...it may still be there. Maybe this beauty was meant for you!

We all feel like that some days, eh?

I enjoy seeing your art again!

Did you paint this?

Debra---It all evens out eventually...I think.

Awwwwww...you are such a nice person.

Bob---Yup. But drew is probably more accurate. The medium is pastel. I also paint. Due to the high cost of art supplies these days, I have scaled down in size and taken to pastels, which goes much farther than oils or acrylics.

JACKIESUE---Another nice person. I'm glad you like it.

When I saw the headline, I figured this was going to be a really depressing story. Then it turned out to be pretty cool.

What Professor Chaos said. I was all ready for a news item about an uninsured patient (pre-existing condition and all that) being turned away by the ER, dumped on the street, arrested for vagrancy...

Professor C---Well, glad you like it. Good thing I didn't tell the story of the homeless person who lives in it. Just kidding. Bad joke. Another negative Karma mark for moi.

Tom---Dude...things like that don't happen in 'Murica...
