Brilliant. And as a man who makes more spelling mistakes and grammatical errors than anyone, I really should be kicked off the NHS's books entirely

"How else will he learn not to fall off his bike?" Funny and clever.

Mandazoid said...

This video reminds me of the one they put out about Prop 8, but they turned it around to outlaw divorce instead of gay marriage.

Both awesome videos!

jadedj said...

Mo---you're still on it?

Lou---The, "stick the knife and twist it" school of humor. I love it.

Mandazoid---Hey, thanks for gracing this miserable place. They are awesome!

intelliwench said...

Oh, dear. This reminds me of my mother's "I don't believe in taxing the rich more than they already are" rant. Only she wasn't being satirical.

Punch said...

The problem with satire and the simple minded is they don't get it. There are people right now repeating that very line about learning to fall off a bike. You did and you're ok? is their argument. to wit: Sarah Palin.

omigod, it makes me ashamed to be a veteran and use the VA.
I should buy health insurance. Quick! Before Obama reinstates our veteran's benefits at the ,....
oh, no.
Too late.
Well, I should just turn my back on the VA and BUY HEALTH INSURANCE!
Those poor guys NEED their Caddilacs!

Look these people need these huge salaries because they don't spend them on frivolous shit like second hand clothes and store brand food. They need these salaries to pad the non foreclosure statistics and Will Ferrell and the rest of them should just shut the hell up!

MeanDonnaJean said...

Jeeeeeezus....I must miss all the good shit when I'm here at work.

No speakers = no video clips.....'n I can't read lips.

There's no way in hell I'm gonna remember to check it out later when I get home either......IF my kid ain't monopolizin' the computer, which, on second thought, there really ain't no "ifs" about cuz he just WILL be.

I think *I* get more excited about my kids turnin' 18 than THEY do, cuz we all know what THAT means (adios, ya lil' money suckin' Hoovers!)

Oh h*llz yes! That was great!

This one won't get yanked, the author and the participants want it out there, Beck was a little peeved about being compared to Joe McCarthy, which is strange, I thought he would recognized a soul mate.

jadedj said...

intell---I said, keep your mama out of it...no, wait...that was...nevermind.

Punch---that actually should be, to witless: Sarah...Maybe the bike example is being used by the witless, but the new idiotic phrase of the not so witless is, "personal responsibility", as it applies to those who get sick, or who have no insurance. Mostly makes me want to puke.

boneman---they don't own Caddies...Mercedes...better built car.

walking man---totally agree. Did you catch the report last week of the ex-GM CEO, Rick whatever. Seems he is in dutch with his taxes...and the mortgage on his 7500 sf Grosse Pointe home. The reason, according to him? His parachute severence was reduced to 10 mil from 50! BoofuckingHoo. Of course this has nothing to do with health care reform, or insurance companies, but everything to do with an attitude. It all fits together.

MeanDonnaJean---I have a solution to the missing shit shit. Don't go to work.

Hey, here in Nebraska we have a law by which you can leave your child on the steps of a hospital, and no questions will be asked. The child will just be gone. Maybe a move to Nebraska is in order?

diane---it is good that you think so.

Holte---I was of the opinion that maybe the powers that own our very souls vis a vis the media, yanked the shit. Anyway, Beck is too busy catching and boiling frogs to recognize a soul dope.

Here's something ya'll should get excited about and spread around the web. One of the major "options" to the public option being proposed is a non-profit agency designed to hold down costs. Here's the catch, we ALREADY have such a thing, it's called Blue Cross Blue Shield. Non-profit, don't pay taxes, don't save us one friggin dime, an the execs are paid millions. Holy shit! How did that happen?

jadedj said...

Mr. C---well hell son, let's just turn everything related to health care, or lack of, over to them. Save them tax dollars for killing machines and twangs. Nothing beats experience...unless it's greed.

Tom Harper said...

Very moving video. OK, I'm convinced. Health insurance providers have gotten a terrible rap from the liberal media, and this needs to stop.

I'm all ready to go to the next local town hall meeting. I'm gonna stand up and shout that I don't want any government bureaucrats meddling in my health care. Thank you Will Ferrell for setting me straight.

Punch said...

I have bull shit bull shield,
they state clearly that after they
have spent $5 mill on my lame ass I'm
a dead man walking.
see says right here in
the policy. get gone muthafuca.
where the fuck is sarah palin?
there really are death panels.

jadedj said...

Tom---But will Will?

Punch---Les see...5 mil, that's 2 cat scans and 3 Tylenol. I'll take care of it for half that and a bottle of wine in a brown bag.

the walking man said...

I do love how the millionaire commentators at fox news are panning this because the people in it make millions of dollars for making a movie. It's all too fucking funny.

jadedj said...

wm---yep, shoot the messenger bastard.

Sunny said...

This is a 5 Star for sure, JJ. :)

I just hope they (anyone!) does not mess with my Medicare and my Social Security and my current medicines!!

I fear they will say: " generics work just as well, so we are not helping part of payment for your namebrand meds."

I have dealed with some generics that did'nt to anything, but Doc tried me on the namebrand and they worked!

jadedj said...

Sunny---nobody is going to mess with Medicare. As to the generics, I am taking generics for Norvasc (blood pressure) and Prilosec...I noticed no difference when I switched. They both work. I really feel that the generic fear is propagated by the pharmaceutical companies. They lose major bucks when they lose their exclusive rights to the drug. A rose by any other name, is still a rose.

PENolan said...

Dude, what do you mean "see if this one gets yanked"?

jadedj said...

PE---two meanings. One hidden. The other: the video in the previous post was pulled by unknown flying orangutans.

PENolan said...

re: The Big Cracker

cracked me right up

jadedj said...

PE---Ha! You want to see the film, don't you?

If anyone is really interested in this veiled conversation between PE and me, you will have to go to:
