I had a flu shot 2 weeks ago, so I feel safe visiting your site. I believe alcohol, in moderate amounts, to be helpful, especially hot water, lemon juice and shot of Scotch, all mixed together.

Scotch and lemon juice (Holte's comment), never heard of that one. Worth a try. I like lemon juice, honey and vodka (only for medicinal purposes, of course).
The scotch works fine but only if you take it in a baby's bottle and assume the fetal position. If that's too much trouble, drink bourbon.
But this blog is always in a state of delirium...so how has the flu made it different?

Swine? If so, perhaps "a hair of the dog" will cure ya. Or maybe I outta say "a snout of the pig"...and wouldn't ya know it but we just so happen to have a large supply of 'em right here in our very own Bowels of Hell Foodtown supermarket. Yum!...want some? ;-)
You all have my sympathies. I endured a terrible cold last week - not really the flu. When I do get the flu - everyone will know how lousy I really feel - if I survive!!!
