Ramsey Lewis Trio..."And I Love Her". Wanted to share what I'm listening to at this moment. Just outright SMOOOOOOOOOTH. There's no other way to describe it.
To all----It's just...yeah...listening to it again as I respond to you all. This group puts me into a mellow and romantic place. I never tire of them. This is why I shared, and I am glad for the positive response.
To all again---This is the positive side of our country. Too often I get bent because of our sorry politics, and I despair. Then, I renew my faith by revisiting this kind of American culture. It is good, dudes and dudettes...and always gives me hope.
I had a couple of albums by these guys back "in the day" but haven't listened to them in years. Thanks for reminding me of a "smooth as silk" trio...
I had a thing for the Modern Jazz Quartet and Dave Brubeck at about the same time in my life. Gonna have to go dig those LPs out and find someone with a turntable. Damn, you've got me feeling old as dirt, now! BTW, just linked to this site from mine, hope that's cool with you!
squatlo---Hey thanks for commenting and stopping by. I'm glad it was a good experience for you.
A turntable...let's see, that's one of those things that went round and round, and had a sharp, pointy thing on it...right? Mind you, I don't really know about such antiques. Many of the other readers over here do though...no names.

I will listen as soon as I'm through with Madeleine Peyroux --> "Half the Perfect World", from the CD of the same name ...
Sublime music for the last night of November ...
:-)
Yeah, baby.
You just a postin' fool JJ. But I love it.
Ooooh! It's like an early Christmas present! Thanks, JJ!

smoother than a cat's ass.
YD G---I am going to take your word for that. My cats would not take kindly to any investigation I might make into the subject.
A vision of a kinder and gentler America.
Punch---Alas...you are correct.
Smooooooooth....
Verrrrry nice. :)
Chimp---As a cat's...whisker.
Heidi---It is.
