"I am not a good American...I prefer to form my own opinions" - George Carlin

Just in case you are confused, let me clear it up for you.

JESUS CHRIST:

RICK PERRY - asswipe from Texas who today announced his candidacy for president (if you click on it...it'll make you afraid...very afraid).

• Next time I tell you someone from Texas should not be president of the United States, please pay attention.  - Molly Irvins

This guy is scarier than Bush.

Susan---Precisely.

Amen and roger that last...

Sarge

Sarge---Roger that roger...but not out...not yet, by God.

Great irony. This asshole brags about creating minimum wage jobs then supports eliminating minimum wage.

Love the Molly Ivins quote.

I have to wonder who the GOP is going to dust off and run at the last minute, after the current crop of clowns are done making themselves look foolish; I refuse to believe for one nano-second that any of them are to be taken seriously.

jadedj said...

Truth 101---Well that's one way to keep out all those illegals down yonder in Texass...make the minimum wage jobs so low that not even they can afford to take them.

intell---I agree, except I recall thinking the same thing about their chimp candidate.

Chimp said...

Yes, we may have surprise last minute entries both from the Republicans and the Democrats as neither has a potential winner so far and both sides keep on pissing off most Americans.
I wonder who the onepercenters will finally appoint as our next president?
Adolf would have been proud of little "Aryan"Ricky.

Punch said...

it is all too too. I just can't think of a thing to say. All that comes to mind are really ugly words.

jadedj said...

Chimp---Well, they've already appointed Bonzo the Chimp and Bozo the Clown. So given that, I predict it will be a showbiz type. Maybe, hmmmm, say, Mickey the Mouse.

Punch---A blank mind is a terrible thing to waste...or something like that.

Punch said...

to many words. A blank mind is the GOP.

jadedj said...

Punch---Oh. I see. Thanks.

this guy Jesus isn't doing so hot either.

Punch said...

this guy Jesus is about to determine the outcome of a 2012 election in the U$. And, AND, he has been dead for over 2000 years. Elvis should have it so good.

jadedj said...

Mr. C---I was going to say something smart ass, but P took the wind outta my smartassness, below.

Punch---Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!

You do know that Generalissimo Franco is still dead, right?

Sherry said...

Some day maybe I'll figure out how he went from being in favor of Texas seceding from the US to running for president of same. It's my age, or I missed something. One or the other.

Chimp said...

Sherry, that's a politician. Believe in anything your constituents believe in until you get to the top. Then he/she screws them all and gets rich!!
Lawyers make good politicians.
25 presidents were lawyers before and/or after being elected

jadedj said...

Sherry---Chimp said most of it for me. Some American Indians (at least in the movies) used to call it, speaking with a forked tongue.

Chimp said...

Yeah! Like a snake!!!

jadedj said...

Chimp---Correct.

I miss Molly Ivins almost as much as I miss Stevie Ray Vaughan... and that's saying a lot, folks.

Perry's a clown, and we ignore him at our own peril. Given this shallow gene pool of GOP candidates, he's got the financial backing, the wingnutter philosophy, and the personality to duplicate Dubya's eight year reign of error.

Progressives better rally 'round the man they've chosen to represent the side of goodness and light, regardless of how we might feel about his disappointing success, or we'll have this asshole to face every day for a decade.
Fuck Rick Perry.

jadedj said...

squatlo---Yeah, both gone way too soon. I would love to get Molly Irvins thoughts on the current circus performers.

Agreed, we better bury our dissatisfaction and unite, or the results might be the darkness beyond our wildest nightmares. This guy is dangerous. Seriously.

Tom Harper said...

We should have listened to Molly Ivins.

jadedj said...

Tom---The first time...and for sure, this time.

BBC said...

Carlin was great, I feel like a man without a country myself.

Fuck jesus.

jadedj said...

BBC---Ditto and ditto.

Texas A&M's "brown shirts" image is a bit much. It's a difficult image to square isn't it. Cocksucker britches and a sadist chest belt, a dicky and a saber. Oh shit, I didn't see that before, lookie there the flag has a yellow fringe. Now that pisses me off, that really pisses me off.
Fuck Rick Perry and fuck the Christian Taliban.

jadedj said...

yellow---Ha, the yellow fringe...I hadn't noticed that.

As to the theatrical get-up, what struck me the most was the penis extension of the saber. Could be wrong...nah, that's what it is.

All together now...FUCK RICK PERRY!

yellowdoggranny said...

he makes Bush look like a light weight..sigh*..we're fucked

jadedj said...

YD G---With a capital F.

squatlo said...

Actually, now that I look closely at Jesus and Perry in those images I realize they were either signaling "unsportsmanlike conduct" or issuing a sideline warning.

Can you tell I'm ready for football season?

jadedj said...

Squatlo---I do understand the signal confusion. I should point out that several of my neighbors have pointed out to me that Jesus is cheering for the big Red "N". Just so you don't get your hopes up, you see.
