It's Alive...

This post has nothing to do with anything except my brain and it's wanderings. I sent an email to a friend whom I haven't heard from in a week or two. I asked if he was dead or alive. Of course my wandering brain lead me to the following favorite movie line of mine...and more.

These are but a few of my favorites (I could have gone on and on and on).

What some of your favorite movie (or TV) lines?

I've always liked "Come quietly or there will be... trouble." From Robocop.

I couldn't find (in a hurried search) just the line, so it's said at the 00:38 mark.

I love the "It's Alive!" scene from Young Frankenstein. Particularly the part where Gene Wilder says that scientists should take defeat with quiet dignity and begins pounding on the monster, bringing it to life. But there are so many great lines in that movie it's hard to pick just one.

Mr. C---I agree. I struggled with whether to post the original or the Wilder scene. I chose the original because is it so camp. But the Young Frankenstein is full of quotable lines. One of my other favorites being Eyegor (as pronounced by Wilder) responding to the question, "will you give me a hand with the bags"...Eyegor, "certainly, I'll take the blonde...you take the brunette". Vada Boom.

Bella---I believe those were actually flying aliens from the dark side of the moon.

Bella---OMG...you've been removed! I wonder if it had any thing to do with Jack.

These are very informative, from the one I learned I might be a king, since I'm not all covered in shit. That's good to know, really good. Thanks.

I can't think of a specific movie, but every Grade Z science fiction movie has to contain "We don't know what we're up against" and "I've never seen anything like it."

yellow---I am glad it was good for you, your majesty.

Tom---I thought that was the Democratic side of the aisle lament.

What do you mean, you could have gone on and on and on. You did.

At my age, everytime I have a sexual relationship, I think, "It's alive! It's Alive!" or not.

Chimp---You don't actually believe what I tell you...do you?

did you see high Anxiety? with the running line of 'I got it, I got it.' some one would toss a stone and the guy would say I got it..and get it and get rid of it..and it kept getting bigger and bigger till it was a bolder and he was straining and grunting to lift it all the time saying 'i got it..'...so I had taken the kids to see the movie..mojo was almost 3..one day I hear this little voice straining..'i got it I got it..don't got it.'...then repeat..I got it I got it I got it..........grunting..I don't got it..
looked around the corner and shes sitting on the toilet with constipation and is trying to push it out and going..I got it I got it I got it.......I don't got it..I laughed so hard I cried.

Pulp Fiction:
[Jules shoots the man on the couch] I'm sorry, did I break your concentration? I didn't mean to do that. Please, continue, you were saying something about best intentions. What's the matter? Oh, you were finished! Well, allow me to retort. What does Marsellus Wallace look like?
Brett: What?
Jules: What country are you from?
Brett: What? What? Wh - ?
Jules: "What" ain't no country I've ever heard of. They speak English in What?
Brett: What?
Jules: English, motherfucker, do you speak it?
Brett: Yes! Yes!
Jules: Then you know what I'm sayin'!
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Describe what Marsellus Wallace looks like!
Brett: What?
Jules: Say 'what' again. Say 'what' again, I dare you, I double dare you motherfucker, say what one more Goddamn time!
For some reason it just cracks me up. And now every time I hear someone say What? I have to chuckle.

I was going to comment just "what", but I know you have connections, so I left it alone.
