Of Mice and Men...and blogs

As the mice would have it, my JS blog visitor count was at 24, 990. Too bad for that 25th M'er...I had a fabulous January Caribbean Cruise lined up for him/her/them. Such is life.

The sad news is…and my innards expected it for some reason…JournalSpace is kaput. All the king’s horses and all the king’s men can’t put the data together again. For me, I now have to decide whether to stay with wordpress, or blogspot…or, just keep posting to both. Both sites have pluses and irritations, but I will say, blogspot seems colder to me…not sure why. Beyond that, if I can’t find the following people, I’m going to be an unhappy guy. If any of you addicted JSers know where these people are, please let me know.

Where o where art thou….

sonofwalt, julielynne, Navywaxman, hsack, keepingintouch, noone, elbows, sweetjane, bigbadal, cartguyforever, emd, TOBP-Steve, the new voice8, fatfreddiescat, Antic, wallwriting, theredhead, MickH, Margo, intelliwench, and that Brit guy, Simon.

Damn, missing all these people already.

Oops, found intelliwench...she's right here.

Merry New Years everyone.

A few of those are posting their new links on Dorrie's forum. Simon and The Redhead, for sure.

Have a good evening and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, J -- I *thought* I left a comment on your previous post, but it's not there, nor is my reply to you on my journal. I'm trying again -- using IE this time -- to see if it's a Firefox issue. *sigh*

Anyway, I don't know about any of the others, but sonofwalt has been at Wordpress for a while now, as dadpoet.

Good to be able to read you here. Even if I have to use IE to do it. Guess 2009 is the year of change in many, many ways :-)

becoming---thanks for the information and cheers to you and yours.

intell---I'm having the same problem. I didn't think of using IE. Thanks for the tip.

I knew sonofwalt was somewhere in cyberness, just couldn't remember where...this happens more and more frequently at my stage of deterioration.

It has to change, doesn't it.

Alas, I didn't get to see my Bush clock wind all the way down, but I trust that he is indeed outta here.

Well wherever you decide to stay, be sure to let me know! Hope you had a Happy New Years.

I love blogspot . . . so I vote for you to stay here. Of course -- no matter where you go (unlike w/JS) we can still link from one blog to the other. You'll only be a click away regardless.

For sure Cart. Ditto to you.

You're right Sun...the link feature is a big plus. I am working on adding everyone I've found thus far.

I'm here now and plan on spending some time tonight and tomorrow figuring out how this all works. I feel like clinging extra tight to all JSers that I find. The sinking of our cyber-Titanic has thrown me for a loop.

red---I've been tweaking this thing for several days now. I know exactly what you mean. I'm feeling a bit better, and positive since finding most of my favorites, such as yourself, here and at word press. It was jarring though.
