One of my favorite TV shows of old was The Prisoner, starring Patrick MacGoohan. He passed away today in L.A.

I don't remember seeing this show, but when I was little we had only peasant vision, first in British Colombia then Alberta. What years did it run?
becoming---it ran l967 - 1968. I didn't see it until reruns in the 70's. I would assume that since it was a British Production, it was also aired in Canada. It's available through Netflix, and I re-watched the whole series a few months back. I totally love this thing.
I have the entire series on DVD. Some episodes are less than memorable, but many are simply unbelievably good.
I will miss the man.
Paul---despite what they say about you on the streets...you ARE a man of taste.
I will concede, reluctantly mind you, a couple of them are a bit silly.
Oh, but that Secret Agent theme song? It was the best. :-)
hsack---It was! I posted that back on JS a few months ago. It's one of those songs that STICKS in the brain...all...day...long.
I really loved that show.
