Sushi and other fishy things.

NOTICE-THIS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY TONGUE-IN-CHEEK BLOG.
This is a photo of a Blobfish (my fingers want to type, Blogfish, but that would be a different post).

The photo is courtesy of The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, by way of the Los Angeles Times.

If this baby doesn't make you want to give up Sushi, I don't know what will.

I was struck by the similarity of this fish to a certain cretin personality in our midst. And it hit me, this is too strange of a coincidence, there has to be a connection. Contacting my infallible keep-up-with-the-lowlifes sources paid off. They found this photo in their archives. Good work dudes and dudettes!

Actually it makes me want to devour more {blobfish] and their look a likes.
A Blobfish has more spine that Limpnuts will ever have. Which is 0.

That's too funny.

Save the Blobfish from the Sushi knife, but I have no problem if anyone wants to slice his long lost brother into inch cubes.

I was thinking Cheney :o)

Jerry---A mug only a mudder could love.

RZ---careful, blowfish are poisoness...even the spineless ones.

Bob---and pathetic.

Holte---Not even a Japanese person would partake of that lardass.

Bucko---Good eye. My first thought too, but my ever hatefulness for the Mouthbaugh overrode that idea.

looks to me like a piece of marine shit has grown legs and come ashore.

diane said...

The two legged one is a baseball coach, isn't he? What's his name? I think I recognize the first one from a Broadway musical.

intelliwench said...

I find both blobs equally unappetizing.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

Do we still need a good five cent one?

jadedj said...

wm---Turdfish?

diane---Wannabe maybe.

From Hair?

intell---How about with freedom fries?

Doug---by any other name.

Smoked by two-bit politicians.

Think I'm gonna hurl. I'll let you decide which one caused the feeling. :)

自由---What evidence do you have that Limbaugh was born in Manchuria? We need evidence, dude.

I think I've seen that blobfish on Big Brother.

Now WHAT would a blogfish be? And do blobfish blog?

Proof, yet again, that mankind crawled out of the slimmy swamps to finally stand on two legs. Evolution summised in two photos. Should be mandatory in every classroom.

Kulkuri said...

While it's true that over all these millions of years evolution has come a long ways. It appears that it can go backwards as your photos illustrate.

jadedj said...

mo---the blogfish is related to that Loch Ness thingy and of course, Big Footsy out in the Northwest of this continent. It's blog has been sighted on occasion.

Mr. Charleston---Funny you should bring this up, I have proposed this very idea to our county council. They said they would be in touch.

Kulkuri---In this case the advantage of the opposable thumb did not come into play...except of course to play with his hoohah.

Chimp said...

I’m sorry you guys are insulting the blobfish by comparing him to a big fat vicious rich retarded racist drugged windy hemorrhoidal blowfart dinosaur right wing nut job slimy blob cigar-smoking snail with nasty rhetoric and useless noise and who came back from the dead because of his millions (like his twin Dick Cheney).

Tom Harper said...

mmm, yummy photo. It's what's for dinner.

Can't wait to see what the blogfish looks like.

jadedj said...

Chimp---you need to learn to express yourself more succinctly, methinks.

Tom---I just uninvited myself to your house for dinner.

Ah, the blogfish. Unfortunately, the blogfish is an elusive booger...in fact, it looks like a booger. But I will strive to produce a photo of the slippery devil in the next few days. I think there are several residing under the driver's seat of my car.

Punch said...

I'm speachless.

jadedj said...

Punch---This can't be. YOU are speechless? Do you have a fever? Are you having bad headaches? Did the frontal lobe probe actually help? Take a break and get back to us tomorrow.

Punch said...

I think it was the fish I ate.

Land of shimp said...

The fish is positively huggable in comparison to the bloated, slimy creature beside it.

I frequent a blog where an individual had that very same picture as his avatar for ages. I could never enlarge it, and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to figure out what it was.

Ignorance, it turns out, was bliss. Ew. Ew. and while we're at it? Ew again :-)

But a fun sort of "Ew", you understand.

jadedj said...

LoS---Ew never know what's around the next corner.

Harlequin said...

I'll take the legless blobfish any day. And, this is going to sound stranger than I mean it to, but this little guy kind of reminds me of my dad....
great photo.

jadedj said...

Harlequin---That is precisely what my daughters told me.

I think our new friend blob (and don't you just love that sad face?) looks a lot like Senator Mitch McConnell.

jadedj said...

Elizabeth---Nailed! No DNA test needed.

Shrinky said...

Call me weird, but I think that blobfish is cute (okay, I have low standards, this I know). As for the other guy.. eeek, ugly, or what??

jadedj said...

Shrinky---But would you take him home to meet mama (I already know the answer to that question regards the uglier one)?
