Gene Fuckyouberry

"I am not a good American...I prefer to form my own opinions" - George Carlin

"It's difficult to remember one came to drain the swamp when one is up to one's ass in alligators"
- Barack Obama (not really...but it should have been)

Of late I have been trying to avoid posting negative things, and thoughts. My very good friend (un-named here) reminds me on occasion that negative produces negative, and controls our being...consequently, we are not in control of ourselves. And he is correct. I am truly trying to exorcise bummer shit from my life...negative being one of them.

But...but...BUT...sometimes I backslide.

I received this letter in the mail today from "my", $174,000 a year, 75% health care insurance paid for by YOU AND ME...from day one, Reprehensible in the U.S. Congress, Gene Fuckyouberry (R) Neb.

I can't even look at a photo of this asswipe without getting mad. In my mind, he is the epitome of every thing that is wrong in America today. A lackey in the classical sense of the word. That is to say...a Republican politician. A, fuck you, I got mine shithead. FUCK YOU GENE.

Unfortunately, in Nebraska this trait is not limited to just Republipukes. We have a certain Democrat of the same ilk on board here...there...in la la land...D.C. His name is Ben Nelson...another asswipe of the 5 star class.

But this post is not about asswipe number two, Ben...it is about asswipe number one...Gene.

Gene, asswipe number one, included in the mailing, a cute little postcard with check off squares, the purpose of which is for me to inform him on what to work on next year. Uh huh. Whatthefuckever, Gene. How about...work on doing the right thing...for a change...asswipe?

Click on the photo of the letter below, and peruse (sorry, you have to click on it twice to be able to read it):

All these asswipes have to do is get the fuck out of Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Colombia, Somalia, Yemen and the other 700 places we have troops in around the world and stop sending billions to Israel and then we will have plenty of money for healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, VA-care, Highways, bridges, public transportation, jobs, education and the welfare of the taxpaying American public.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I have to say you have a most beautiful hand at lettering. I find it refreshing, that even in a state of mind numbing agitation you still can letter with a steady hand.
My hat is off to you, Sir.

I call friends to arms often at Huffington Post...
Write to your representatives, and write often.
There are pluses and minuses involved.
One is they still don't have to listen to us as their drone interns press a button that deletes our question/policy statement...

I hate it when the answer they send back has little or nothing to do with the point I made.
Still working at legalizing marijuana, which is, for the most part, like getting an elephant to stop scratching its ass on an ant hill.

Beggars.
But, still... write and write often, make copies of what you write, and later, when someone is finally running against them...
put it up on the screen for everyone to see.
Hmmm...this Fuckberry seems to have three problems.
#1 He certainly has pist off JadedJ
#2 He isn't doing what his constituents want him to do (instead, entertaining the though that he was elected for what he thinks is "good for everyone"
and
#3 Man! That name!
Here's a man that really needs to find a new name.
Geez,... FUCKBERRY!
HA!
Then again, if the Foo shits, wear it, right?

MAgnificent annotation. I particular like the idea of 'healthcare liberty'. Yes, that's what your Founding Fathers had in mind: freedom from healthcare!

There's a lot about Ireland (where I'm from) and the UK (where I live) that needs fixing, but state healthcare is one of the things the entire population is proud of: even the Conservative Party thinks so!

Chimp---YEAH!

Punch---Thank you. My mama always said to me, "boy...practice your cursiveness, and put on clean drawers...every day of your life". It has worked out very nicely for me so far.

Harlequin---It would seem, I just can't rearrange my mind for his kind. But the best kindness of all is from you, dear person :-)

boneman---Yes indeed, some very good advice.

My Zen friend mentioned above recently encountered the "phone drone" when calling his Republican reprehensible to register a protest. He got the "thank you very much for calling" click. Bastards are not even pretending to listen any more.

I live in a "Red" state, but I don't have to be one of them.

Btw, I love the elephant analogy...double Har har har, with that one!

YD G---Yeah...and then there's that missing the kissing part too. Bastards!

Plashing---Yes, they "doublespeak" with the greatest of skill. George Orwell is laughing his ass off somewhere out there in the ether.

Health care for all...it's just common damned sense, isn't it? Our pols have taken the horse out of horsesense and inserted the horse's ass(es), methinks.

Punch said...

Yo! Bro!
that horse sense and ass thing there
is a bit of genius.
Asssense with the $h%t implied.
That just might be your zen moment.

Take the afternoon off.

Sing in, JJ!
I, too, applaud your direction and penmanship. It's like one of those personal moments of resistance that Chris Hedges says inspires hope in all of us.
Very positive.

Mr. Charleston said...

Well... I can't tell which is the biggest hypocrisy here, Fuckyouberrie's pledge of an open and cooperative Congress, or you claiming to be non-negative.

Huuummmm... I think Fuckyouberrymuch wins!

Ironically, YOU paid for the stationary.

Punch---A lifetime spent thinking in the sphere of the willie/nilley and then...the life is defined in one moment...recognizing assholeoness. There it was, in my head, and I didn't even know it.

Thanks, man...I am off.

Tricia---Did I tell you what my grand mama always said? She said, "son, if you can't say something positive, then...fuck 'em!" My mother was more interested in penmanship and the appearance of cleanliness.

I am not too sure regards inspiration, but I am sure about weed and Merlot. Very encouraging activities.

Mr. C---Well, trying NOT to be and being are two different polecats, are they not?

cortico---And then the asshole rubs it in my/our face/faces stating that he is "...saving us money" by posting the full "report" on his website.

Numero uno thing, Mr. Geneasholeo, the "report" is nothing more than aggrandizement of you. Numero dos thing, HOW MUCH IS THAT GODDAMN WEBSITE COSTING? Websites don't just appear out the mist, you know.

Mr. Charleston said...

Polecats none-the-less. But one must love Pepe Le Pew.

jadedj said...

Mr. C---And happy new year to you too.

Chimp said...

Best wishes to all of us on our last year on planet earth. Only 11 months, 30 days, 13 hours, 42 minutes, 12 seconds until 2012...

Isn't it adorable how "our" "elected" "representatives" pretend to actually be doing their jobs?

It could be worse, Jaded. You could be living in Tennessee....

MerrY New Year to you & yours.

Kulkuri said...

While your Rep. is an ass, it could be worse. You could have Lee Terry as your Rep. as we did when we lived in Omaha. I have a hunch he is the one that inserted a clause in the tax code making bakery truck drivers independent contractors as a favor to the CEO of Metz Baking because the CEO donated $10,000 to the party and $2,000 to Lee Terry's campaign.

I called his office and asked for them to confirm or deny it, but I never heard back from them.

jadedj said...

Chimp---I would be glad to debate that "theory", but next year.

intell---OK, you got me ;-)

And ditto to you and intellikid!

Kulkuri---Why am I not surprised? But I still give him the asswipe #3 title.

Sunny said...

Hi JJ :) Ohhh no ! I hope that guy ...Ben is not related to meee!! ( His last name is only my married/divorced name anyway, whew !)

Wishing you and your family a Healthy , Prosperous, and Joyful New Year 2011. It's arrived. It's here. Hugs, Sunny

jadedj said...

Sunny---Not to worry...there is no doubt that you are NOT related.

Happy New Year to you as well.

Susan said...

Agreed on negative thoughts--I too try not to post negative things, but sometimes life is NEGATIVE. Happy New Year, friend.

Punch said...

Chimp...you still got can food from Y2K? Good chance to use it.

jadedj said...

Susan---It is difficult for sure. And to you :-)

Punch---Oh man yeah...with lots of spam in there.

THis Fuckyouberry shithead will be on the floor of Congress next week complaining about how Congressional franking priveleges are a waste of money.

Then he'll send you a letter bragging about how he's fighting waste a week later JJ.

I stopped being shocked by republican hypocrisy and bullshit a long time ago. No lie they tell surprises me anymore.

"negative produces negative, and controls our being...I am truly trying to exorcise bummer shit from my life...negative being one of them."

I have that same dilemma at my blog. I keep thinking I'll be less negative and more upbeat; be less political and write about more general subjects that are entertaining or interesting.

But then these infuriating news stories come up, and the next thing I know is, I'm fuming and ranting again.

jadedj said...

Truth---Doesn't surprise me either...but still PISSES ME OFF!

Tom---I go from reading every nuance of every story every day and then whip myself into a froth...and then not reading anything for days..simply to keep my blood pressure in check.

I agree...current events makes it difficult to keep ones humor.

Maybe an organization much along the lines of AA is in order...Newsaholics Anonymous. Although, just the word anonymous gets my blood running.

Jaded, you need to come over to the sisterhood and catch Weinerdog Wednesday, before it's too late!

intell---I didn't make it in time. Caramba!
